Eldest by Christopher Paolini

As Eragon walks over the remains of dwarves, men and many Urgals, his journy has begun. As he begins his training in the home of the ancient elves he encounters many things. Secrets about his past, the mystic powers of the elves are all unveiled. Also, the journies of two groups. One of these groups are led by the brave Roran Stronghammer on a journy for survival and the other is Eragon and Saphira, both on a quest for knowledge. Then, a battle to end all battles where a secret is told that will change will change his life forever. But what's next you ask? You'll have to find out for yourself.

Eragon is an excellent book for readers of any age. Full of action, drama, romance and a lot of other things that make this book absolutely a must read. Of course it is imperative that you read Eragon first otherwise the story won't make sense. It's definitely a page turner and it makes you want to sue Christopher for not yet making the next book.(Yes, there will somewhere in the future be another book.) I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, anywhere.

Could I read the book if I've seen the movie Eragon?

What would you say to those who do not enjoy reading such long books, though love the basic story of Eragon?

Dear Mrs. Davis,
You most certainly can read the book if you've seen the movie. Books have so much more detail than the movies. Also, the Eragon movie is so incredibally different from the book it's scary. You really should read Eragon if you haven't. Afterwitch you need to read the sequal, Eldest.

Dear Otaka,
My only advice would to just suck it up and read the book. There is no other way to enjoy the book.

Dear Otaka,
It has recently come to my attention that audio books are a possible substitute for reading.

i think that you have an awesome blog and that yo5u are very detailed. I was just wondering what you think about what happened at the end of the book. When do you think they will make a movie about this book?

I could have told you the Audiobook thing, though remember, just because someone is reading the book does not make it any shorter. Harry Potter 4 audiobook is over twenty hours long!
